Who It’s For:
Hardcore kids who are closet metal heads
Sounds Like: The future of hardcore.

Listen up kiddies; this is what you’ve been waiting for.
Evergreen Terrace have been mixing it up mad scientist-style for the better part of a decade now, but they’ve finally gotten the formula down perfectly. They’ve managed to trim all the fat off and now are running leaner and meaner than ever. The highs are higher, the lows are lower and almost ever chorus makes you want to jump up and sing along at full volume. I think the thing that holds it all together perfectly is their ever present, sardonic sense of humor. Not too light, but never quite sliding into that pessimistic hole that so many bands find themselves doing these days. Evergreen Terrace are equal parts thrash, hardcore and punk rock (perhaps a dash of emo…) and are managing to every day become more unique in a genre of music where conformity and plagiaristic attitudes are fast becoming survival tools.
