Hello Beautiful
Soundtrack For Scenario
3/5
Who It’s For: People who like a little bounce and beat in their rock and roll
Sounds Like: Rock infused with some hip-hop and reggae
Hello Beautiful could be like no other. They are crawling into that reggae rock genre that seems to be coming back slowing (think Sublime inspired). They are made up of cool catchy beats with the addition on hip hop scattered here and there.
The album starts off great with amazing atmosphere filling ‘Asphalt Ambulance’ that makes you think you have never heard anything like this band. The feeling you get from the first track dies off after that and they give off a different feeling of reggae rock throughout the rest of Soundtrack For Scenario. It’s still good, but I have heard it…recently even.
If these guys run out of the gates with a super catchy track like ‘Say Hey!’ the masses will be behind them. It’s got all of the elements that could throw them to number one complete with a sing along chorus and keys that just make you want to love them. Then on other tracks I can think of other bands that play similar tracks that I already love, hurting Hello Beautiful’s cause.
They are a decent band and with a little more time will probably come out with a niche of their own to rule.
