Who It’s For: Punk teens who like to get high, get drunk, party, pick up chicks, laugh, mosh and generally have a good time. No egos allowed!
Sounds Like: Party punk. A little bit NOFX and a little bit rockabilly

These guys definitely grew up in a very obvious time in punk rock’s history, when NOFX and Green Day were singing about getting drunk and feeling shitty with a smile on their faces. You can hear these influences within the first minute of their self-titled album. It sets you up to know what you are getting and know that we shouldn’t be too serious about all this so please crack a beer with me.

So yeah these guys are all about the party. They claim to want to get high, drink all night in the ultimate never-ending party. You could probably assume that from their songs titles like “Booze N’ Doobs” and “Never Ender Bender.” Behind all that there is a fairly talented band. They have a punk light/rockabilly feel making you want to put a little bounce in your step.

Unlike many bands that sing about girls and love and mushy situations that we all can’t relate to. Most of us can relate to having a few drinks too many, making an ass of ourselves, being pissed off about life in general. If you haven’t the idea of it will still put a smile on your face. ICS have a great sense of knowing when to have the deeper vocals bring an angrier darker feel to a song and when to let loose and have fun.

These guys tend to be a double edged sword. Tracks like “Lil’ Shy” are all over great. The vocals sound good, the addition of female backups is perfect, it’s got this amazing mix of fast and slow and shows a good bright future, but it starts out about STD’s. Whereas sometimes their more serious tracks just don’t stand up as good. Regardless if there is still a niche for this these guys should be near the top soon cause we all need more fun in our music.
