Who It’s For: Impatient people awaiting a new Broken Social Scene record
Sounds Like: The fourth Broken Social Scene album

How fitting that Kevin Drew would be the first solo artist featured in the new Broken Social Scene Presents series, he is only the lead singer after all. 

All sarcasm aside, this album is amazing. It basically sounds exactly like what a Broken Social Scene record, after all, the gang’s all here to back him up including guests Tom Cochran and J. Mascis. I think the only huge difference is that David Newfeld didn’t produce it.

”Backed Out On The…” is the single everyone can’t get out of their heads and there’s plenty more such as “Gang Bang Suicide” and “TBTF” to add to your brain. Drew knows how to please his fan base and it’s nice to know this series has only just begun.
