Sound the Alarm
Stay Inside
2.5/5

Who It’s For:
Fans of average rock music
Sounds Like: Nothing special

Sound the Alarm comes out of their debut sporting a few catchy songs on the album like “Suffocating” and “Picture Perfect,” but nothing that really sticks out enough to make these guys popular.

“Closer,” actually has some guitar-work during the chorus that sounds eerily similar to something Creed would try. If you’re getting Creed comparisons, it’s probably not the best thing for your career. Except if you’re a professional bar-fighter and someone says you punch like Scott Stapp.

It would probably be for the best if these guys didn’t quit their day jobs; I don’t think there’s enough here to stay in music for the long run. The best they could probably do is make some average coin opening on tour for some superior bands.
